On this platform, you can discover what sustainable development challenges the Accelerator Labs have been working on, which partners got involved and what insights emerged from their on-the-ground experiments. Through these plans, the Labs can identify the way forward by seeing thematic patterns and can foster cross-Lab collaboration.

Fostering Experimentation and a Learning Mindset in Crisis Response
Syria
In crisis-affected settings, the Accelerator Labs have worked to embed a culture of research and experimentation within institutions, communities, and local ecosystems. This approach recognizes that traditional development models often fall short in volatile environments. Instead, fostering curiosity, iterative learning, and openness to failure becomes essential. Labs have engaged government entities, youth groups, universities, and civil society to co-create localized, evidence-driven solutions—often starting with small-scale experiments. Through tools like ethnographic research, prototyping, and systems mapping, they’ve seeded R&D mindsets where they are most needed: in places where uncertainty is the norm and innovation is not a luxury but a necessity.
